Review: by Nate "RedNinja" Gleason 4/10 - The first time I saw this card, I was pretty exited. Since Beasts and Slashers are two of the most common monster traits, it seemed pretty consistent. Unfortunately, the card loses this consistency for it's other clause - It only works if the monster isn't showing a red or green starting line. As we all should now, the best time to prevent slayings are within the first couple turns, to prevent a monster from becoming blooded. But if we can't deal any damage to the monster…how are we supposed to play this card? Even though it has synergy with Plot Twists that prevent slayings and deal damage at the same time, such as "Hair-Spray Blowtorch", these won't affect Beasts and Slashers with the Stamina or Invulnerable, a couple of their most common abilities. This is one Plot Twist to definitely skip. There are much better cards you can play over this one. |
